Thank you for choosing Downriver Guns and Ammo to facilitate your CPL class. We understand that there are many options out there and we are thankful you chose us! Our DRG Academy classes are efficient, streamlined classes that provide flexibility when it comes to range time. Academy classes are larger classes. If a more personal class with individual instruction might be a better fit, please consider signing up for our standard CPL class. To earn their certificate students must participate in the entirety of the classroom training and then successfully complete the range skills certification. The range skills portion must be completed at Downriver Guns during the 2 weeks immediately following class. Downriver Gun is open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm (range closes at 8:30). The instructor will give you more details on range time, including exact dates, during class. Students will receive their certificate of completion AND a FREE month of range time to Downriver Guns at the completion of the range qualification. Classes will be held at the Grecian Center,16300 Dix Toledo Rd, Southgate, MI 48195 . **Academy classes can NOT be cancelled or rescheduled so please verify availability before registering. **Classes are non-transferable and must be completed by the individual that registered. Once a class has started an absence will be counted as a no show. All Classes start at 10:00am. We ask that students arrive 15 minutes early. The classroom portion will run from 10am-5pm so please plan accordingly. You can bring food and beverages, including lunch. Please DO NOT bring your firearm into class.
